Find Food Bank and The L-Fund


FIND FOOD BANK: FIND Food Bank is the desert's regional food bank serving eastern Riverside and southern San Bernardino Counties in Southeastern California. FIND's Ending Hunger Today, Tomorrow and For a Lifetime programs provide neighbors with healthy and nutritious food, outreach services, educational and workforce development opportunities to address the root causes of hunger and help break the cycles of poverty.  FIND feeds an average of 125,000 people each month through a network of 150 distribution sites, which includes FIND’s Community Mobile Markets, and over 80 community-based partners. FIND is recognized as the regional emergency disaster response food bank by the state and county as the first line of defense against hunger. 


THE L-FUND:  Since 2012, The L-Fund has provided emergency financial assistance to cis, trans, and queer identifying lesbians in crisis across the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. Wanting to help beyond emergencies, our grants have expanded to include education assistance, health and wellness aid, and grants for lesbian artists. Founded by lesbians for lesbians and the only organization of its kind in the country, we work closely with the community at large to improve the lives of our sisters.

David Burnham was last seen on Broadway in the mega-hit musical, "Wicked", playing Fiyero, a role that he originated in the developmental workshops of the show. He is an original Broadway cast member of the musical "The Light In The Piazza", performing both on the Tony Awards and the PBS telecast "Live From Lincoln Center." He is the recipient of the prestigious "Helen Hayes Award" for Best Actor as well as the Best Actor "Garland Award" for his portrayal of Fabrizio in the national tour of "The Light In The Piazza." David first gained critical acclaim when, after a two year search, he was chosen to replace Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (Dramalogue Award). He toured nationally in another Andrew Lloyd Webber blockbuster playing Peter in "Jesus Christ Superstar." Also in NYC he was in the original cast of the Off-Broadway show "The Best Is Yet to Come - The Music Of Cy Coleman" directed by David Zippel, and in Las Vegas, he starred in the the original cast of "Showstoppers" at the Wynn Resort. Other favorite theater roles include Quasimoto in "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame", Joe Gillis in "Sunset Blvd", Prince Eric in "The Little Mermaid",  Baron Felix in "Grand Hotel", Cain in "Children of Eden", Nanki Poo in "The Hot Mikado", Billy in "Letters From 'Nam", Jason in "Ordinary Days", Charlie in "Peggy Sue Got Married", and The Actor in "The Woman In Black". On film he was the voice of the Prince in the Warner Bros. animated feature "The King And I," and can be heard on the soundtracks to "Ghepetto," Disney's "Home On The Range" and Comedy Central's "South Park". David performs with symphonies all over the country and his solo concert has been seen in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has recorded two solo albums, his self-titled CD and "One Day."  As a writer, David's musical "Happy 50ish",co-written with Mark Vogel and Lynn Shore, ran off-Broadway and is performed regionally around the country. He currently has two other musicals in development. David works extensively with kids through vocal and acting workshops and hosts a summer program for young artists called "Camp Sing". 

Gregory Douglass evocative pop sound blends “Rufus Wainwright’s opulent musicality and Justin Timberlake’s accessible soulfulness” (OUT Magazine). NPR’s Morning Edition coined him “one of New England’s best-kept secrets.” Gregory’s song “Alibis” was featured on season one of Netflix original series The Rain, which sparked a fast-growing international following of his music. He has shared the stage with artists including Jason Mraz, They Might Be Giants, Regina Spektor, Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin, and Anais Mitchell, among others. With ten (10) studio albums independently released, Gregory's songs have reached millions of listeners digitally, and his videos have amounted to more than a million views on his YouTube channels. According to Pandora’s co-founder, Tim Westergren, Gregory is one of the top independent artists on Pandora radio today.

Kim Schroeder Long is a performer whose resume spans classic and contemporary dramas, comedies, musicals, operettas, touring shows, immersive theatre, and an acclaimed range of portrayals of icons real and fictional from Blanche Dubois to Bette Davis to Rosemary Clooney to Judy Garland. A member of Actors’ Equity Association, she’s worked in several different regional theatre markets, and as a singer, she's appeared in concerts and cabarets on both coasts of the United States. Though known for her physical and vocal transformations, Kim also regularly entertains audiences as herself in her own voice in supper clubs and cabaret rooms throughout the Coachella Valley. kimschroederlong.com

JASON STUART is a prolific character actor & stand-up comic. Born in the Bronx and raised in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles, and now residing in Palm Springs and lives next door to his 85 year old Jewish mother Gloria,  He has concurred type casting by playing “Joseph Randall” a heterosexual, Christian, plantation owner in 1831. A major supporting role in one of the most talked about films in recent history in “The Birth Of A Nation” from filmmaker Nate Parker. Stuart, a LGBTQ rights advocate through his subtle characterizations, reflects his enlightenment to his life’s calling by combining his humanitarian beliefs with his mastery of the craft of acting. 
     Hollywood began to take notice by casting him in films like “Kindergarten Cop,” “Vegas Vacation,” and TV shows like “The Closer” and “My Wife & Kids.”  Frustrated by years of living in the closet, Jason chose to come out publicly on an infamous episode of Geraldo Rivera focused on “Unconventional Comedians.” He went on to guesting on shows as “Goliath” opposite J.K. Simmons, “Love” from comedy guru Judd Apatow, and indie films like “Tangerine” from filmmaker Sean Baker and “Love is Strange” opposite John Lithgow and Alfred Molina. But Stuart hit comedy gold with his co-star & co-creator Mitch Hara  for their Amazon comedy series “Smothered” for which won the Indie Series Awards for Best Actor In A Comedy, which lead to a wave of interest for Stuart & Hara as “Content Creators”, hitting a nerve in the  zeitgeist and giving his them new material, energy, and a purpose. Their motto is “we do not wait for permission to create”. Season 2 of Smothered warranted 11 Indie Series Awards nominations for co acting,  co writing and co producing now on Amazon, You Tube, Revry, Apple TV, Tube and more.  These days, Jason keeps his comedy chops polished through stand-up gigs all over the country with his recent comedy album “I’m The Daddy And I Have Candy” that’s been featured on Sirius XM Radio. Jason’s also an in demand speaker on diversity in the workplace with his autobiography “Shut Up, I’m Talking!”. In addition, he serves as the National Co-Chairman of the SAG-AFTRA LGBTQ Committee, which he co-created in 2004. He’s also recently completed a number of projects that are streaming with diverse roles such as the thriller “Immortal” opposite Sam Levine & starring Dylan Baker & Tony Todd, the action film “Abducted” on Showtime (playing detectives in both) and a starring role in the indie drama “Hank” from director Hongyu “Neo” Li, about a couple who consider an open relationship, which continues to earn high praise at numerous festivals, including winning the Best LGBTQ Short at The Los Angeles International Film Festival and was also nominated for Best Actor at the Glendale International Film Festival.​
